Review: RUN RUN RUN THE OTHER WAY AND DON’T LOOK BACK!!!!!!! This is one of the worst service transactions I’ve ever experienced. I would give him a negative rating if I could!!!I went to him (Tye) because he quoted me the lowest price out of three other shops I called. He said he would charge me $200 to install a radio, four speakers, and an amp since I was purchasing everything on my own and bringing it to him. I purchased exactly everything he said I would need. It took him a full day and a half to “install” everything, and then he hits me with an $1160 bill saying parts were missing and that it was more labor intensive than expected. Huh?!He charged me $60 to relocate the radio, which could only go in one place and he never attempted to put it anywhere else. He also charged me $50 for a bracket kit he never used. The biggest kicker was that he held my radio in place with DUCT TAPE!!! When I questioned him about it, he said that was the only way it could stay in and that it was secure in there. Take a look at the photos I posted. You can pull the radio right out and see the duct tape. Last I checked, radios are not supposed to be pulled out nor held in place with duct tape. He defended this and had no qualms about it. I also noticed that the backup camera he installed was positioned right in conflict with my rear wiper (see image). This means I cannot use my rear wiper as long as the camera is where he put it.He works out of a “friend’s grandmother’s” apartment in a sketchy neighborhood and not a storefront. In the end, he took some money off after I expressed concern, which brought everything down to $1000…still way too much for the low quality work he did.He is unethical, a cheat, and performs low quality work. I do not know the full extent of this install since I cannot see all his work, but I now I have to spend more money and take my car to a reputable car audio shop to check everything and fix what he did wrong.Do not trust his ratings and RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!!!!
